One Response to Capt. Caleb Congdon (1767-1832) of New Bedford, MA

  1. Stephen Hamilton says:

Hi, Mr. Smith. I found your information on Caleb Congdon interesting, but I was wondering where you found information on him being a Quaker and a whaler. I have numerous articles referring to his trips in the sloops Lydia and Packer, on which he transported goods to and from New York. I have yet to find any reference to him being a whaler, though. I would love to hear from you to see if we can help each other out. Thank you for posting your research.
