a double play

I just saw a perfectly executed double play in a softball game in the park [Juniper Valley Park] here.

A hard grounder to third.

It was a game ending DP. The team on the field were roaring with delight.

The baselines are very short on the field and in softball in general, so it’s very hard to pull off a DP.

A rare feat in an amateur game.

Fun to see.
